Vampula
Vampula is a municipality south-west of the Finland, in the province of Western Finland and the area of the Satakunta.
Geography
The small commune is rather typical South-west of the country. Little cultivated relief, and more fields than everywhere else, the forest not covering that 51% of the territory and the lakes 1%, is rates quite lower than the averages of Finland. The river Loimijoki crosses the administrative center.No important city is located in the vicinity. The small urban center of Huittinen is at 17 km.

The common neighbors are Säkylä in the west, Köyliö in the North-West, Huittinen in north, and finally Alastaro in the east and the south (Finland of South-west).
History
The common one historically forms part of the orbit of the town of Huittinen. It did not start to take a little autonomy in 1590 with the construction of a first church. In 1635 its population is of 314 inhabitants. The municipality is founded in 1867, following the law on the communal organization of 1865. A new church is built in 1894 and is always in service today.The commune culminates with nearly 4.000 inhabitants in the Années 1950, before knowing a strong decline related to the Rural migration, which returns its fusion with very probable Huittinen in the years to come.
