The Valtiberina (or Valley Tiberina ) is one of the four valleys of the province of Arezzo with the Casentino, the higher Valdarno and the Val di Chiana arétin.

Geography

Between the Tuscan and the Ombrie, parallel with the Casentino, it is crossed by the higher course of the the Tiber which occurs with the Mont Fumaiolo in Emilie-Romagna.

Valtiberina is closed in the west by the Alpe de Catenaia and in the east by the Alpe della Luna.

One distinguishes the Valtiberina Tuscany and the Valtiberina ombrienne .
