Valo city

Born the November 22nd 1976 with Vallila, in the suburbs of Helsinki, in Finland, Ville Hermanni Valo is a Finnish Chanteur and composer-songwriter. He is the singer of the group HIM. He also plays of several instruments: the battery, the Piano, the low one and the Guitare dry. His/her father is of Finnish origin is fore-mentioned Kari, and his/her mother is of Hungarian origin and fore-mentioned Anita. Child, Ville was influenced by the love of the music of his parents, who initiated it with artists originating in Finland such as Tapio Rautavaara and Rauli Badding Somerjoki. HIM is the first and only group originating in Finland to being gold disc in the United States, selling to with it more than 500 ' 000 copies of their album Dark Light (2005).

Separately to work with HIM and Daniel Lioneye, Valo remains very occupied in the field of the music, while working with several other artists with the passing of years. It contributed to the song (backing vocals) on several titles of the 69 Eyes (another group of Finland), on the album Apocalyptica of Apocalyptica on the song " Bittersweet" (a duet with Lauri Ylönen, singer of the group The Rasmus), on the album Hefty Fine of the Bloodhound Gang on the song " Something Diabolical" (it met besides this group thanks to their mutual friend: Bam Will stroke), and on the Thornography album of Cradle off Filth while singing in duet with Dani Filth on the song " The Byronic Man". In 2007, it formed a new duet with the actress Natalia Avelon, for the song " Summer Wine" who makes party of the original soundtrack of the film " Das Wilde Leben". A clip of this song was turned. This song is a recovery, the original one being sung by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood.

On scene, it is always presented with a Cigarette. In May 2007, it entered a detoxification center to fight against its alcoholism. It is sober since.

Valo lives in Helsinki. He is a large admiror of the scenario writer Tim Burton and several writers such as Charles Baudelaire, Charles Bukowski and the poet Finnish Timo K. Mukka. These trois-là has their portrait tattooed on his right-hand man.
