Vallois

Vallois is a common French, located in the department of the the Vosges and the area Lorraine.

Its inhabitants is called Valloisiens.

Geography

The small commune of Vallois is bordered in the east by the Madon.

History

Formerly, a named commune Three Vallois gathered the current communes of Dommartin-lès-Vallois, Vallois and Without-Vallois.

Curiosities

There exist pits says “Holes of Debin”, which absorb water and pour them, says one, by tunnel, in Madon. (According to Geography of the department of the Vosges of Adolphe Joanne, published in 1877).
