Vallière prize winner
Prize winner Vallière (1888-1973): highly skilled decorative sculptor.
Born in Saint-Romuald (today Lévis). He was the pupil of the sculptor Ferdinand Villeneuve. Lauréat Vallière saw his work exported in Quebec, in Ontario and in the United States. Preferring wood, he did not hesitate to carve the stone to carry out furniture and statues for several Québécois churches.
