The Park of State of Valley off Fire (" Valley of Feu") is a park of the State of the Nevada in the west of the the United States of America, not far from Las Vegas and of the Lake Mead. Located in arid zone, it owes its name with the blazing color of certain made rocks of sandstone. Opened in 1935, the park is oldest and widest of Nevada. It belongs to the Désert of Mojave.

Prehistory

The multicoloured rocks of the Valley of Fire were formed 150 million years ago, at the time of the dinosaurs. The complex processes of Sedimentation, rising and erosion of the Grand Basin give place to splendid mineral landscapes.
