Valley of the Saone
The Val of the Saone is one of the 9 subdivisions of the community of communes of the Grand Lyon. Located at the north of the agglomeration, in the department of the the Rhone, it gathers 16 communes located on both sides the Saone, between the Côtière of the Dombes to the east and the side of the Monts of Gold in the west.
The communes of left bank of the Saone partly composed the historical province of the Franc-Lyonese.
