Valley of the Lily

The valley of the Lily (or of the Lily (small River Affluent of the Spade)) of French altitude of the the Pyrenees is a small valley opening on the valley of Luchon (department of Haute-Garonne, area the Midday-Pyrenees).

Its lower part accommodates the access road to the station of Superbagnères.

Geography

This high Pyrenean valley, is rolled up around the Mont of the Lily (2  234  m) with the foot of the Peak of Crabioules (3  116  m) and of the Peak Lézat (3  107  m).

The valley lends itself to the excursion of summer.

It gives access to:

Toponymy

The name of the valley is based on the Pyrenean Hydronyme Lez.
