The Delaware Valley , so known under the name of Philadelphia-Camden-Vineland , PA-NJ-DE-MD Metropolitan Combined Statistical Area , in French Valley of the Delaware, is the fourth urban surface of the the United States of America on the level of the population. Located in the middle of the megalopolis of BosWash, it is made up of several counties of the Delaware, of the New Jersey, the Maryland and Pennsylvania. Its population was of 5.951.797 inhabitants in 2005 according to the Bureau of the census of the United States. It is characterized by a fort urban around the town of Philadelphia, its shopping mall, cultural and industrial spreading out.

Many inhabitants of the area use the every day the train or the highways to go to work, either in Philadelphia, or in the towns of Camden, Wilmington, and even until New York.
