Only to DOC. the wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in province of Aoste in the communes of Aoste, Arnad, Arvier, Avise, Aymavilles, Bard, Brissogne, Barge-Saint-Victor, Chambave, Champdepraz, Charvensod, Châtillon, Donnas, Fénis, Gressan, Hône, Introd, Issogne, Jovençan, the Room, Montjovet, Morgex, Nus, Perloz, Pollein, Pontey, Bridge-Saint-Martin, Quarter, Saint-Christophe, Saint-Denis, Saint Nicolas's Day, Saint-Vincent, the Saar, Verrayes, Glasses, Villeneuve.
