Valley-of-gray

Old commune of the Haute-Marne, the commune of Valley-of-Gray existed of 1972 with 1984. It was created on June 1st 1972 by the fusion of the communes of Andilly-in-Bassigny, of Bannes, Bonnecourt, Changey, Charmes, Chatenay-Vaudin, Dampierre, Frécourt, Lecey, Neuilly-l' Évêque, Orbigny-with-Valley and Poiseul. Neuilly-l' Évêque was the chief town of the commune. It was removed the December 31st 1983 and the constituent communes were restored.
