Valley-Junction

Valley-Junction is a municipality in the regional Municipalité of county of the News-Beauce with the Quebec, located in the administrative area of the Boiler-Appalachian Mountains.

The small village of the center of Beauce held the attention of the national mediums at the winter 2007 whereas the company Olymel announced the closing-down of its factory of 1100 employees, following the refusal of the latter to accept wage falls.

The municipality has an industrial park where many companies in the last decade were established. Among those, one will note A.B. Metal, Metal B.G.L., Pyasagement of the Valley and the giant of the house, Pro-Fab.

The company Transport L.F.L is also lucrative and employs many people.

The school the Child-Jesus ensures the primary school education whereas the pupils of the secondary are directed to the secondary school Veilleux, of Saint-Joseph-with-Beauce.
