Valkenburg-Houthem
Valkenburg-Houthem is old a common Dutchwoman of the province of the Dutch Limbourg. The common one existed under this name of 1941 with 1982.
In 1940, the communes of Houthem, Oud-Valkenburg and Schin COp Geul amalgamate with the commune of Valkenburg, as well as parts of the communes of Hulsberg and Berg in Terblijt. The first, the noun of the commune is year not modified, but in 1941, the municipal council decides to adopt the new name of Valkenburg-Houthem .
January 1st, 1982, Valkenburg-Houthem amalgamates with Berg in Terblijt to form the new commune of Valkenburg aan of Geul.
