Valery Bykovsky
Valery Fedorovich Bykovsky (in Russian: ВалерийФёдоровичБыковский ) is a Soviet Cosmonaute born the August 2nd 1934.
Biography
Flights carried out
- June 14th 1963: on board Vostok 5, it carries out a flight grouped with Vostok 6, and beats the record of duration of flight with nearly 5 days. It is to date (2007) the longest space flight carried out as a recluse.
- September 15th 1976: he is the commander of the flight Soyuz 22.
- August 26th 1978: left on the flight Soyuz 31, it remains more than 7 days on board Salyut 6 and turns over on ground on board the flight Soyuz 29.
