Valeri Rioumine

Valeri Victorovitch Rioumine (in Russian: ВалерийВикторовичРюмин ) is a Soviet Cosmonaute born the August 16th 1939.

Biography

Flights carried out

  • October 9th 1977: he is engineer of flight on board Soyuz 25.
  • February 25th 1979: it passes more than 175 days in orbit, on board Soyuz 32, establishing a new record for the time.
  • April 9th 1980: it passes more than 184 days in orbit, on board Soyuz 35, pushing back once again the record of stay in space.
  • June 2nd 1998: he is specialist in mission at the time of mission STS-91, on board the Space shuttle Discovery.
