Valdeblore

Valdeblore (in occitan alpine or occitan gavot Valley of Blora pronounced 'bluro) is a common French, located in the department of the the Alpes-Maritimes and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure. Its inhabitants is the Valdeblorois .

The commune of Valdeblore gathers several villages of the Val of Blore:

  • Saint-Dalmas (in occitan alpine Sant Darmàs ): still called Saint-Dalmas of Valdeblore to distinguish it from Saint-Dalmas-the-Selvage.
  • the Rock (in occitan alpine Ruòcha )
  • Bolline (in occitan alpine Bolina ): also called sometimes Bollène
  • Mollières (of the alpine occitan, Molièras , wet ground): today depopulated, and having been yielded by the Italy to France to the Treated of Paris (1947), Mollières can be studied separately.
  • Colmiane (of the alpine occitan Cuòla miana , the average mountain, i.e. the mountain located between Vésubie and Tinée): it is a Winter sports resort.
