Val Gardena
The valley Gardena (in Ladin, Gherdëina , in German Gröden ) is a high alpine valley , in the Dolomites of approximately 25 km length, famous for its ski stations.
One still speaks the Ladin there (80 to 90% of the population is ladine).
Principal city, Ortisei.
