Vakif
Vakif (Turkish: Vakıflı Köyü, Armenian: Վաքիֆ) is the last Armenian village of Turkey, the remainder of the community being gathered in the cities, mainly with Istanbul. It is located close to the Mont Brace (in Armenian: Musa Ler, in Turkish: Musa Dagh) in the province of Hatay.
History
After the First World War, Vakif belonged to the Syria before returning in 1939 to the Turkey.
Current location
The church of the village was restored recently.
