Vajradhara-Ling
The Vajradhara-Ling is a center of the school Kagyupa of the Bouddhisme Tibetan. This center is related to the 17th Karmapa, Orgyen Trinley Dorje. This Buddhist center is located in Normandy close Lisieux. It is related to the center Kagyu-Dzong of Paris.
“The garden of the Vajradhara Buddha” was inaugurated in 1982 by Kalou Rinpoché, which entrusted the responsibility for it to its disciple, LAMA Gyourmé.
The congregation Dashang Kagyu Vajradhara Ling is centered on the prayer and the practice. She orders herself around a Temple, of a stupa, a center of retirement and a prayer wheel. The prayer wheel contains 100.000 printed sheets of will mantras devoted to Dordjé Sempa, the Buddha of the purification.
LAMA Gyourmé undertook the construction of a Stupa in 1987, of which the foundations were completed 2 years later, the year of the attribution of the Nobel Prize of Peace to the 14th Dalaï Lama.
In 1999, the congregation received in donation a property located at 60 km of the center; it is called today Mahamoudra-Ling and transform in center of retirement for the people wishing to practice for some 6 months period, 1 year or more.
The congregation has as a project to build a Temple for the Peace of 700 m2, which will be a place of lesson, demonstrations interdenominational, cultural and scientific, and will be dedicated to Peace in the world. The first stone was posed the September 21st 2003 by Tenga Rinpoché. Today the Congregation continues to collect the required funds with the construction of the Temple for Peace.
