Vadims Vasiļevskis

Vadims Vasiļevskis (born the January 5th 1982 with Riga), is a Latvian athlete specialist in the Throwing the javelin. Its best personal performance of 90,73 m, is carried out in 2007 with Tallinn.

Vasiļevskis one of was surprised throwing the javelin of the Olympic Games of Athens. Of the three Latvian launchers of javelin present in Athens, Vasiļevskis was young person and less known than its two compatriots Ēriks Rags and Voldemārs Lūsis. It was however the best of the three, launching to 84.95 m, improving its personal record of 2.50 m and becoming money medal-holder.
