Vadim Piankov is an actor, composer-songwriter and interprets Russian born on January 20th, 1963 with Krasnodar (Russia).

Vadim Piankov discovered the French language thanks to the songs of Jacques Brel whose passion had impressed it. It started to attack the repertory of Brel before even including/understanding the songs and ended up settling in Belgium.

In addition to personal compositions, he sings Brel and Barbara in Belgian and French cabarets. Its texts are in French and in Russian and one finds with his repertory of the poets such as Musset, Aragon or Apollinaire, like his Russian brothers Vladimir Vissotski and Boulat Okoudjava.
