Vader

Vader is a group of Death metal originating in Poland.

History

Vader was formed in 1986. In 1993, it records its first album " The Ultimate Incantation" (on the label Earache Records), become thereafter one of the references of the death European metal. First brutal group of Eastern Europe to acquire an international repute, Vader makes a European round of 40 dates with Bolt Thrower and Grave, then another of 30 dates with Deicide, Suffocation and Dismember in May and June 1993, which marks its entry on the American territory.

Vader puts an end to its contract with Earache. In 1994, leave " Sothis" (Repulse) and " The Darkest Old - Live' 93" (Baron). The group also turns with Malevolent Creation and Oppressor. Without contract and in spite of the fall of popularity of the death metal, Vader continuous. In 1995, it signs with System Shock/Impact Records. The success of the three exits " De Profundis" (1995), " Future Off The Past" (1996) and " Black To The Blind" (1997) combined with a great live activity (more than 350 concerts in three years!) contribute to the return of the group on the front of the scene. Vader is perceived like one of the European leaders of the death metal. In same time, Hammerheart Records arises the first two demonstrations of the group - " Necrolust" (1989) and " Morbid Reich" (1990) - under only one CD: " Reborn In Chaos".

In August 1998, Vader records an album live: " Live In Japan" (System Shock/Impact Records). Before its exit in December, the group records mini CD " Kingdom" (System Shock/Impact Records) like its official video first " Vision And Voice" (Mind Metal). This same year, Vader also opened for Slayer in Poland. The end 1998 is marked by the signing of a contract with Metal Blade, one of the most important metal labels.

In March 1999, Vader at the head carries out its first American round of poster - " International Extreme Music Festival 99" - with groups such as Gorguts, Cryptopsy, Nile, Divine Eve. In May, the group plays Metalmania - the most important Polish festival, with Grip Inc., Samael and Anathema. June is marked by another round in Europe with Six Feet Under, Enslaved, Cryptopsy, Thyrfing and Nile, and the remainder of the summer is filled by many appearances with festivals in Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.

In November and December 1999, the group records in Red Studio its new album " Litany" , left in March 2000. The exit of the album is followed of a round, of which No Mercy Festival 2000 with Deicide, Immortal, Marduk and Cannibal Corpse.

In June 2000, Vader embarks for a European round of 30 dates with Vital Remains, Fleshcrawl and The Crown. Graft July and October of the same year, Vader turns over to Red Studio to record a mini album " Reign Forever World" , which includes/understands recoveries, new versions and titles live. As usual, promotion is based on the concerts, including many festivals, a round Polish, Russian, Ukrainian and American. September 2001 saw another European round with Cryptopsy, Dying Fetus, Catastrophic and full with others, followed by Thrash' EM All Festival 2001 to Poland with Krisiun and Behemoth.

In February 2002, Vader records its new album studio. " Revelations" was recorded in Red Studio with Piotr Lukaszewski with the realization. It is the first album recorded with Simon the new bass player, substitute of Shambo. Before the exit, Vader still turns to England, Ireland and Scotland (March 2002), with No Mercy Festival (April 2002), and in Poland (June 2002). May will see also the exit of the first DVD of the group: " More Vision And The Voice" who will incluera the VHS " Visions And The Voice" , of the vidéos-clips, an interview with Peter and of the interactive beaches. June 21st, Vader will record a concert for the promotion of " Revelations" in a Polish tele studio (the VHS and the DVD should be soon available). In September and October, the group leaves once again to the conquest Europe - 50 concerts with Krisiun and Decapitated - and later in autumn, it turns to the United States, Japan, to South America and Australia.

The new album " Revelations" had a one year promotion and half. The group takes part in many festivals during the summer 2002, and starts just after its round in Europe and in the United States. Right before their flight for the USA, Vader resides five days at Japan and carries out some spactacles there. In December, their first Brazilian concert takes place. 2003 start with dates in France in February, and in April begins a new round with Deranged, Arkon Infaustus and Arise which precedes infamous Polish Metal Handled festival and two other festivals in Scandinavia - Inferno Metal Festival and Motala Festival in Finland and Sweden. In June, Vader occurs for the first time Israel (in front of a public of more than 1000 people) and during the summer, the group also makes some festivals (Wacken Open Air, Party San, Nuclear Storm and most enormous Polish festival Przystanek Woodstock, or Vader occurs in front of several thousands of people). Vader records its new MCD " Blood". The group finds a new bass player in Novy (ex-Behemoth). In September, Vader organizes a round (17 concerts) with Decapitated, Frontside and Vesania. In October they take part in Art off Noise Part 2 with Nile, Kreator, Amon Amarth in the USA.

The year 2004 brings the launching of the new album studio " The Beast" and an intensive promotion campaign with 170 representations. The recordings of the new album of Vader were stopped and given in May /juin because of an accident of Doc. (battery). It was replaced by a beater called Daray (Vesania). Vader starts its round with in total 25 spectacles in the countries of Eastern Europe. From the April 1st, Vader continues its European round in Germany, Holland, Belgium, England, France, Italy and Austria. In same time they record their album " The Beast". A very great part of this round was the first visit in the Balkans (Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia and Croatia) as well as the round in Scandinavia where they played 14 representations. In the second part of the 2004, Vader played another round in Poland called " Blitzkrieg 2 " (17 gigs), a round in the United States with Cannibal Corpse and Napalm Death (October/November) and played in December at the time of the festivals X-Farmhouse. But the most important gig of 2004 was in Silesian Stadium with Katowice where the group played with Metallica in front of 50  000 people.

Recordings for " The Beast" were finished mid-July. The album leaves in the vats on September 20th and contains 10 new songs. They were recorded with the RG Studio, Gdańsk (Poland) with Piotr? ukaszewski behind the board - the well-known producer of the other recordings of the group. And once again Jacek Wi? niewski - famous Polish artist - dealt of the artwork and the layout. The European limited edition of the album contains a DVD no-claims bonus with a report of the 30 minute old studio, two video clips recorded during the meetings, and three vidéos recorded with Metal Handled Festival 2003.

The last album of the group, left in 2006, names " Impressions In Blood". In 2007, Vader will be with the Hellfest located at Clisson

It had already been replaced in the past for problems of drug, and of the consent of Peter, it had chosen to leave of him even the formation because of its difficulties of fighting its alcoholism. The cause of its death was not translated from Polish…
