Vachon is a provincial electoral constituency Quebec. It is located in the administrative area of the Montérégie and its deputy is Camil Bouchard, of the Parti Québécois, elected at the time of the Québécois general election of 2007.

The district covers part of the territory of the town of Longueuil.

History

The district of Vachon was created in 1980. It was then made of part of the district of Taillon.

The district was named in homage to Romeo Vachon (1898 - 1954), pioneer of Québécois aviation. This Beauce ron, first French-speaking person to obtain a pilot's license, directed the operations of the Trans-Canada Airlines to the airport of Saint-Hubert, towards the end of the Années 1930.
