VTK

VTK (for Vizualisation ToolKit in English) is a bookstore of classes C++ opensource for the visualization of data 2D/3D and the image processing. It is interfaced easily with the languages Tcl-Tk, Python and Java. The bookstore includes/understands more than 1100 classes C++. It was developed as from 1993 at the Research center of the General group Electrics and used in first in the medical field. Thereafter its developers (Will Schroeder and Ken Martin) founded the company Kitware Inc. in the United States to ensure the commercial support and to continue the development of this product.
