VTC (mechanical)
The system VTC ( variable time control ) for “Variable Control of the Distribution” is a system used in the management of the operation of certain spark-ignition engines in order to improve of it operation and the performances.
It carries out a variable chock of the camshaft on all the beach of mode of the engine. When the driving mode increases, an actuator VTC managed by the control unit collecting the position of the camshaft, the ignition timing, the content of O2 of exhaust fumes and the position of the butterfly of gases, advances or delays the chock of the camshaft on a beach of 50 degrees in order to optimize the engine output and to reduce the rate of polluting emissions.
