VR.5 is a American Televised series , in 13 episodes 44 minutes, created by Adam Cherry, Geoffrey Hemwall, Michael Katleman, Jeannine Renshaw and Thania St John and diffused between the March 10th and the May 12th 1995 on the network FOX. In France, the series was diffused starting from 1996 on Jimmy.
Synopsis
Sydney Bloom is a young technician working for a telco, whose passion is virtual reality. Following an accidental handling, it reaches the VR.5 which enables him to communicate with unconscious other people. At this point in time a mysterious governmental organization, the Commission , contacts it in order to use its services because Sydney is the only person able to reach this level of communication.

Comments
In spite of the originality of the scenarios and the quality of the special effects, this series did not convince the public and stopped prematurely after thirteen episodes.
