The processor VIA C3 was designed to meet needs different from the fact that one can await of processors AMD or Intel. It offers options of safety advanced with the function integrated VIA PadLock Engine. From its design, it offers good performances for a very low electricity consumption. Performances digital and multi-media
Via its architecture coolstream, it Via C3 is composed of 16 instructions multi-media such as the SEE or StepAway. Directed multi-media platform, C3 offers very good performances for the MPEG 4 and MP3.
Weak food, weak dissipation of heat
With only 20 Watts in full load, it VIA C3 1.4 GHz does not heat and does not consume much energy. This processor is especially used in computers having important energy constraints such as portables or mini computers of living room dedicated to a multi-media connection with a television.
