VASP - Viação Aérea C São Paulo (Code AITA: VP ; Code ICAO: VSP ) is a Airline company Brésil ienne.

Company VASP (Viação Aérea C São Paulo) was born from a concerted decision of the contractors of São Paulo. The objective was to create favorable conditions with the economic development of the city and its area while meeting a national need as regards augmention for the air traffic in Brazil. The first flight of the company was accomplished in 1933.

The fleet of the VASP

In 2004, Vasp exploits: • 3 Airbus A-300, • 4 Boeing B737-300, • 19 Boeing B737-200e, • 4 airfreighters of which: 2 Boeing B737-200 and 2 Boeing B727-200 VASP serves 26 cities in 21 States of Brazil; the company is present on all the territory and proposes only interior flights. It is the 3rd Brazilian company today and employs 7.300 people (ground personnel and flight crew).

Since the January 27th 2005, the company ceased all operations, after having gone bankrupt.
