V838 Monocerotis

V838 Monocerotis (or V838 My ) is a star of the Constellation of the Licorne. The January 6th 2002, it produced a very intense glare, which illuminated the cloud of dust which surrounds it. Since this date, the Astre is followed closely by the scientists, in particular thanks to the Space telescope Hubble, because the phenomenon which caused the sudden increase in its Luminosité is still badly included/understood.
