Võ Quý
Võ Quý is a ornithologist Vietnam IEN, born in 1929.
During the war against the France, he studies in China. He turns over to the Vietnam in 1954 and takes part in the foundation of the Université of Hanoï where he teaches the Zoologie. He proposes that a subspecies of the Faisan of Edwards, Lophura edwardsi hatinhensis , is autonomous without this suggestion being taken again by the ornithologist S. Võ Quý is the author of The Birds off Vietnam and, with Simon NR. Stuart and John R. MacKinnon, The Kouprey: Year Action Plan for Its Conservation . It receives in 2003 the price Blue Planet.
