Vézézoux
Vézézoux is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Loire and the area Auvergne.
Vezezoux is a small village located at the limit of the departments of the High Loire and Puy de Dôme. There is there a beautiful sight on the Massif Central and the mounts of Auvergne.
Vezezoux makes party of what one still names the Field although the coal mines of the area are not worked any more since 1978. An old treatment plant of coal at the edge of the river To combine, in the bottom of the village testifies to this part of the history.
These last years, its population increases at the same time as the construction of the new houses. For as much, the economic activity of village (trade, companies, etc) really does not evolve/move.
Activity impossible to circumvent of the communal life of Vezezoux: football! Its club has from now on its Internet site:.
History
In the hills of Vezezoux and Marnat, one finds the remainders of the stone quarries where one exploited amethyst and baryta (inter alia) at the beginning of last century. The church of the village is worth the turning and is a vestige classified of passed from Vezezoux!
