The Vézère (in occitan Vesera ) is a French Rivière of the Corrèze and Périgord of which part of the valley is classified with the World heritage UNESCO.
Vézère takes its source in the Tourbière of Longéroux, on the Plateau of Millevaches in the Massif Central in Corrèze and is thrown in the the Dordogne with Limeuil. Its principal affluent is the Corrèze, their confluence being in the western suburbs of Brive-the-Strapping woman.

In its part upstream, Vézère has three Barrage S important: the Stopping of Heaps it Ring, the Dam Treignac, located between 500 and 650 meters of altitude, and the Stopping of Projecting the, a little low.
on January 14th 2004, the hydrological Station of Countryside recorded a daily maximum flow of 630 m a second.
