Vélocitor

Vélocitor ( Cheetor in the vo) is a character of the series Animutants and Beast Machines: Transformers. Its temperament is very clearly inspired by that of the Autobot Bumblebee.

History

Animutants

Vélocitor belonged to the Maximals accompanying primal Optimus on board the Alaxon , in company of Rattrap and Rhinox. When the vessel was crushed, it remained on board. To survive on planet, it taken animal mode of cheetah. There remained then maximum during all the series, and became transmétal in turn, then transmétal 2. It belongs to the survivors who return on Cybertron at the end of season 3.

Beast machines

at the time of Beast machines, Vélocitor, appointed chief as a second, became straightforwardly somebody of person in charge at the psychological level, and makes sometimes proof of more than objectivity than its mentor, Optimus primal; It becomes little-have-little the chief of the maximals, but by always leaving the beautiful role Optimus has.

Character

Vélocitor has as a characteristic to change character of the history progressively: in season 1, it behaves like a child, making jokes, exploiting its incredible and fascinating speed of ric often disproportionate with an impulsive attitude. It evolves/moves in season 2 to adopt a temperament more " adolescent" , then becomes completely young adult in season 3, after its transformation into transmétal 2. It keeps also a tendence a little " jeune" , inspired very clearly by Autobot Bumblebee: like him, he gets along well with the human children (" Cutting edge"). He has also a good relationship with Tigatron, probably because both are the cat-like ones.

The series Beast machines presents it completely transformed: it became responsible, more mature and more serious, and leaves the role of " jeune" group, which passes from now on to Chauvesoucri. It also starts to be opposed to Optimus, criticizing it sometimes and speaking about " to take the relève" as a chief.
