History
The name of Uzos draws its origins from Usius, the Gallo-Roman owner of the city. Uzoos is mentioned for the first time in the current of XIIIe century, and obtains its current name of Uzos in 1385. The castle of Uzos, between slopes and channel was built in 1268. It was the seat of the lord of Uzos at the time feudal.
