Uturuncu
The Uturuncu is a mountain in Bolivia. It is about a Volcan in semi-sleep: fumerolles are present, and certain measurements give a report on a swelling from 1 to 2 cm per annum. With its 6.008 meters, it is about the more high summit in south-west of Bolivia, where also wonders like the laguna Colorada are, the Laguna Verde or the Salar de Uyuni.
It is probably the top of more than 6.000 meters easiest to reach in the world. Indeed a 4x4 will be able to bring you around 5.750 meters, on the collar which separates the two tops (the track made it possible to exploit mine S of Soufre until in the years 1995). If you are in the fine shape, there will remain nothing any more but one hour of effort (or a little more) to reach the top of this view-point.
