Utajärvi

Utajärvi , is a municipality the North-West of the Finland, in the area of Ostrobotnie of North.

Geography

The common mark a Net change compared to the primarily agricultural municipalities of the west. The commune is immense, but the large majority of the inhabitants and the cultures is concentrated in the extreme south-west, around the administrative center, of the Rivière of Oulu, the main road 25 Oulu (58 km) - Kajaani (124 km) and of the railway.

The northern part of the municipality is practically empty, the river Kiiminkijoki crossing there a landscape of marsh, low hills and wild forests.

The municipalities bordering are Muhos in south-west, Ylikiiminki in the North-West, Pudasjärvi in north, but also side Kainuu by Puolanka in the North-East and Vaala south-eastern.
