Urusei Yatsura (うる星やつら) is a Manga of Rumiko Takahashi.
Titrate English: Lamu, the Invader Girl .
The publication of the manga starts in 1978 to finish in 1987 at the end of 34 volumes for the young people Shōnen.
Adapted in cartoon and diffused in France under the title Lamu , the television series comprise 195 episodes to which are added, 6 films and nine OAV s.
The adaptation in cartoon begins the October 14th 1981 and finishes the March 19th 1986.
It is necessary to add to these television series six films left between 1983 and 1991.
Small explanation on the title
The title is a word game in japonais.urusei is a typically oral deformation of urusai , which means noisy , in negative direction (one can often translate it into French by your mouth , silence! or closes to it according to the way of saying it).
The pun relates to the writing of the sei of urusei with the Kanji meaning star .
will yatsura means the guy, people.
The title could of which to be translated by: the guy noisy of the stars .
