Urjala
Urjala is a municipality south-west of the Finland. It is located in the area Pirkanmaa.
The municipality, although of modest size, marks a clear transition between the Satakunta and the Finland from very agricultural South-west on the one hand, and on the other hand the Häme and the Pirkanmaa covered with forests, lake S, and with the relief more marked. The lakes make their appearance and the proximity of the big cities makes that one finds there a number significant of houses of holidays (1 600).
The municipality is the birthplace of the writer Väinö Linna, but this one then lived with Tampere during the essence of its life.
One finds there the oldest glassmaking of Finland, at the village of Nuutajärvi .
Urjala is bordered by the municipalities of Punkalaidun in the west, Vammala in the North-West, Vesilahti in north, Kylmäkoski in the North-East, and side Kanta-Häme by Kalvola in the east, Tammela, Forssa and Humppila in the south.
