The uridine is a Nucléoside, resulting from the attachment of the Uracile on a cycle Ribose, the Ribofuranose, by a glycosidic connection β-N1.
If the Uracile is related to a ring of Désoxyribose, it is called Désoxyuridine.
Biological role
The uridine is a nucleoside pyrimidic, one of the four constitutants principal of ARN, of symbol " U". It replaces the thymidine at the time of the phase of transcription of the DNA in ARN messenger
