Urbain Jean Faurie
Urbain Jean Faurie is a priest and a Botaniste French, born the 1847 with Dunières and dead the July 4th 1915 with Formosa.
He becomes member of the Company of the foreign missions in 1869 and is ordered priest in 1873. He initially leaves to teach with the Japan with Tōkyō and Niigata. He works as missionary in Japan of 1882 with 1894 then starting from 1896, he is with Formosa. Its herbarium is added to that of the imperial crown.
