Upperworks

The upperworks indicates the whole of the accessories of bridge (such as the manilles, Mousqueton S, Treuil etc) which are used for the operations of the veils of a Navire of weak Tonnage, particularly in pleasure sailing and the Yacht S.

Origins

This word, drifting of manor house , applied formerly to the castles of before and of back, richly decorated. It implied the idea of installation, of decoration of the superstructures.
