Up is an album of the group R.E.M. left in 1998.
Following the departure of the beater Bill Berry, the group evolves/moves without official beater. On this album, the parts of batteries are ensured by boxes rates/rhythms or by Joey Varonker, the son of the owner of Warner (he also played for the American group Shivaree). Other musicians of studios are also found: Ken Stringfellow of The Posies and Scott McCaughey.
