Untash-Napirisha is a king élam ite of the dynasty known as of Igehalkides. It reigned approximately of 1375 with 1360 before J. - C. Its name was formerly read Untash-Gall .

Its reign is not well-known from the political point of view. It seems that it remained in good terms with the kingdom close to Babylon, then directed by the dynasty kassite, with which the kings élamites of then proceed to matrimonial alliances.

Untash-Napirisha is before very famous to have built the city of Hard-Untash - Napirisha (Chogha Zanbil), in Susiane, undoubtedly intended to be a place of worship where the principal gods of the kingdom élamite were venerated, initially Napirisha and Inshushinak, to which was dedicated the principal sanctuary of the city. The reign of this sovereign is also marked by many artistic achievements, of which the bronze statue of the Napir-asu queen, now headless, who is with the Musée of Louvre. The work of Untash-Napirisha does not survive however its initiator, since its city loses importance after its death.
