University of the Southern Pacific

The University of the Southern Pacific , in English University off the South Pacific , shortened in USP , is a university in founded Oceania in 1968, its principal seat being based with the Fiji. It is about a university in network, supported on physical sites and virtual sites in 12 countries of the Pacifique South, among which Vanuatu (old Franco-British condominium of New Hebrides), bases advanced Francophonie in this area of the world. Wellington, November 4th, 2004 (source: Flash of Oceania ) - the University of the Southern Pacific (USP, regional institution based with Suva, Fiji), should profit from some 2,5 million Euro S for the three years to come, within the framework of the New Zealand co-operation. According to the USP, this subsidy (which remains to be formalized with the New Zealand agency of international assistance, NzAid) will be particularly intended to finance the operational budget of this university, but also certain programs, within the framework D `a current process of recasting of this institution.
