University of Vienna
The University of Vienna (German: Universität Wien ) is a founded Université in 1365 by Rodolphe IV of Habsbourg. It is the second older university of the German-speaking world after the Université Charles of Prague which, in 1348, at the time when it is founded (teaching in Latin, like everywhere then) by Charles IV of the Holy roman Empire, is the principal university of the Saint Germanic Roman Empire.
The principal building is the work of the architect Heinrich von Ferstel.
