History

The university of Turns exists since 1969.

Organization

The components of the university of Turns are distributed on the town suit. 5 sites are counted:

Tanners (Letters and languages, Arts and Social sciences)
Arbor (Medicine)
Two-Lions (School of engineers, Right, Economy, Geography, AES)
Grandmont (Sciences, Pharmacy, IUT GEII)
Bridge-Wheel (IUT)

Moreover, the University has an antenna with Blois where is the data-processing die, the IUT of Blois and a department of right.

Numerical Environment of Work

Since the re-entry 2007, the University of Turns put on line a new Web site, modern, reactive and interactive. This version of the site integrates from now on a Numerical Environment of Work (ENT). It is accessible via Internet by the students and the personnel from the University who have a whole a private session. Each student lays out on this numerical space: of its file (identity, university course, notes of examinations…), of a whole of tools of organization, of communication, collaboration and administration as well as course in lines.
