Creation of the department Electronic engineering and Industrial data processing with the IUT.
Creation of the University center of Toulon and the VAr (Decree n°70-582 of June 25th, 1970) comprising 3 Units of Teaching and Research IUT UFR of Sciences and Technology UFR of Legal sciences and Economic.
Creation of Continuing education.
Transformation of the University center of Toulon and the VAr into University of Toulon and the VAr (Decree n°79-150 of February 22nd, 1979).
