University of Pennsylvania
The Université of Pennsylvania (in English, University off Pennsylvania , often shortened in PEN or Upenn ) is a private Université American whose seat is with Philadelphia. It belongs to the Ivy League, abstract association gathering the eight oldest universities and most famous of the United States. It is in particular over there that ENIAC was created, the first Ordinateur.
History
This university was created by Benjamin Franklin in 1740. The institution is known under the name of College off Philadelphia of 1755 to 1779. In 1791, this first institution amalgamates off with University the State off Pennsylvania and becomes University Pennsylvania off After locatebeing located in the center town of Philadelphia, the university moves in 1872 in the west of the river Schuylkill in a district now called University city .
Wharton
It shelters the Wharton School, regarded as one of the best schools of management (business school) world.
