The Université of Ndjamena is the establishment of principal higher education, and a long time only, of the Chad.

History

The University of Chad was created in 1971. It was renamed Université of Djamena in 1994.

Manpower

Planned for 4000 students, it counts approximately 6000 of them today.

The University of Ndjamena includes/understands following faculties and institutions:

1. the Faculty of Science Exact and Applied

2. the Faculty of Law and the Economic scenes
3. the Faculty of Arts and Social sciences
4. the Faculty of Science of Health
5. the National institute of the Social sciences
