University of Nanyang
The University of Nanyang (English: Nanyang University; Chinese: 南洋大学; Chinese abbreviation: Nantah, 南大) was a Université with Jurong, Singapore.
History
The university was founded in 1956. She united with the National university of Singapore in 1980.
With this fusion, the campus of the university of Nanyang passed to the hands of a new institute of technology, the Nanyang Technological Institute (NTI), in 1981. In 1991, the NTI becomes the second university of Singapore to use the language English E, the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
